Use quality, high resolution photos to ensure your marketing materials come out crisp and professional. Use images with at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) to ensure the best results.
To view your progress as you create your marketing piece, use the "Refresh" button under the template box on the right side of the page. After you upload an image or type in text, you can press the "Refresh" button to get a quick look at how your changes will appear in the template.
Use the "View PDF Proof" button to see your completed marketing piece before clicking the "Add to Cart" button. This button will open up a full screen PDF version of your completed template so you can do a final visual check before ordering it.
Does your photo (or logo) look stretched or squeezed in the template after you have uploaded it? If you notice that your photo looks stretched or squeezed in your flyer or postcard, upload the image again and use the "Crop" button under the image to get the look you want. Because each camera takes photos with its own "aspect ratio" (proportional size), you can use the "Crop" button to be sure your photo fits the template frame perfectly in the template.
To use the Crop tool, simply upload your photo as usual, then click the "Crop" button beneath the box with your photo in it. You can move the cropping frame around over the photo until you see the look you want. After you select the area of the image you want to use, click the "Crop" button again to choose that look and then press "Done." Your photo will be perfectly sized for the frame.
Spellcheck. Many clients will type their text into Word (or other word processing software) first in order to use that software's spellcheck feature. Once you know everything is spelled right, copy and paste your text into the template form.
